Directions to East Rounton Village Hall
Approaching from A19 North Bound
This is the simplest way into the village. Follow A19N for 3 miles after the A172 Tontine flyover bridge junction and then turn left into the local road signposted "East Rounton" that immediately follows a layby at the Black Swan Crossroads. You will see the junction streetlamps, new road bridge and "GAP CLOSED" signs as you approach. The village is about 1 mile along a country lane and you should bear right at the forked junction as you enter the village. For the Rounton Village Hall Centenary there is ample car parking on the field on the right behind a row of houses. Access is through a gate set back up a gravel lane just past the village hall. The large scale map only shows West Rounton, but you will arrive at East Rounton first.
Approaching from A19 South Bound
The Black Swan cross roads are now closed and replaced by a bridge about 2 miles after the Crathorne junction. Take care it is a sharp bend exit from a fast road and the garden wall of Swan House (the old Black Swan pub) has been demolished by careless drivers several times.
